Meet Dr. Lori Rockwell

Dr. Lori Rockwell began her career as a small animal veterinarian in general practice. She noticed a group of patients right away that were lacking treatment. Those animals were struggling, with physical ailments and behavioral problems. No matter what she tried, she did not seem equipped to help them. She sought help from other veterinary professionals but very few solutions came. Her desire to improve these animals' lives led her to pursue further education. She attended many classes to expand her skills, learning everything she could about rehabilitation therapy, behavior modification, and animal training. She also learned that behavior problems and pain are directly linked. She is now able to use this expert knowledge to help your pet to feel and behave better.

Training Philosophy

As a veterinarian, Dr. Lori looks to science for answers. She uses force-free training methods that have undergone research. These methods are safe, fun, and easy to learn. She wants her clients and their pets to enjoy the behavior modification process. She tries to keep things simple giving clients only what they need. After all, we lead busy lives and don't have time for a lot of extras! Dr. Lori stays up to date on research by reading and attending conferences. Home Life

Dr. Lori shares her home with her husband, their 4 dogs and 5 cats. They definitely keep them on their toes, but they also bring so much joy to their lives. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, boating, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
